Ingredients
- 12 fresh figs
- 8 slices of bacon, diced
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.
- Cut figs in half and scoop out the center, leaving enough of the flesh intact for the figs to hold their shape.
- In a medium bowl, mix together bacon, mozzarella cheese, marsala wine, and salt and pepper.
- Fill each fig half with the bacon mixture. Place figs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and figs are juicy. Serve warm.
