In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.
Cut figs in half and scoop out the center, leaving enough of the flesh intact for the figs to hold their shape.
In a medium bowl, mix together bacon, mozzarella cheese, marsala wine, and salt and pepper.
Fill each fig half with the bacon mixture. Place figs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and figs are juicy. Serve warm.
