Ingredients

  • 2 hamburger patties
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the hamburger patties and cook for approximately 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  3. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a separate skillet over medium heat and add the diced onion. Cook for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the bacon and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. To assemble, place the patties on the hamburger buns. Top each patty with a slice of cheese, and then the cooked onions and bacon. Add salt and pepper to taste.
