Ingredients
1 pound of penne pasta
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
Directions
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta until al dente.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add the cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Drain the cooked pasta and add to the sauce. Stir to combine.
Sprinkle the cooked bacon over the top of the pasta dish.
Serve hot.
