- 1 pound ground beef (80% lean)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices of cheese (optional)
- 4 hamburger buns

Directions
- Preheat the sous vide water bath to 135°F (57°C).
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to evenly distribute the seasoning.
- Divide the ground beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties about 1 inch thick.
- Place each patty in a vacuum-sealed bag or a ziplock bag, making sure to remove any excess air before sealing.
- Once the water bath is heated, carefully lower the sealed bags into the water, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cook for 1 hour.
- After the cooking time, remove the bags from the water bath and pat the burgers dry with a paper towel.
