  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Cook until they are softened and have started to caramelize, about 10 minutes.
