Ingredients

  • 1 pound white fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, minced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced

Directions

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the olive oil, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the fish fillets to the dish and gently toss them in the marinade until well coated.
  4. Place the fish fillets on the preheated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Meanwhile, heat the tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, chipotle pepper, and minced garlic. Whisk until well blended.
  7. To assemble the tacos, place a grilled fish fillet on each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, diced red onion, and sliced jalapenos.
  8. Drizzle the chipotle lime dressing over the tacos and serve immediately.
  9. Enjoy!
