Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup chopped dandelion greens
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package round dumpling wrappers
  • Water, for sealing dumplings

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped dandelion greens, green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients until well combined.
  3. Place a dumpling wrapper on your palm and spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling onto the center of the wrapper.
  4. Dip your finger into water and moisten the edges of the wrapper.
  5. Fold the wrapper in half to create a half-moon shape, then pinch the edges together to seal the dumpling.
  6. Repeat with the remaining dumpling wrappers and filling.
  7. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
