Ingredients

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Wooden skewers

Directions

  1. Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes.
  2. Thread one cherry tomato onto a wooden skewer, followed by a cube of mozzarella cheese.
  3. Repeat the previous step with additional cherry tomatoes and mozzarella cubes, leaving enough space at the bottom of the skewer for holding.
  4. Add a fresh basil leaf to each skewer, placing it in between the cherry tomatoes and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Arrange the skewers on a serving platter, leaving the bottom portion of the skewers exposed.
  6. Drizzle the skewers with balsamic glaze.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
