This easy broiled lobster tails recipe is a perfect choice for a special occasion or a romantic dinner. Juicy lobster tails are split, buttered, seasoned, and broiled to perfection, resulting in a tender and flavorful dish. Serve with melted butter and lemon wedges for a truly decadent dining experience.

Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Directions

  1. Preheat the broiler and position the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
  2. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut through the top of the shell down to the tail, without cutting through the underside. Gently pull the shell apart to expose the meat.
  3. Grab the exposed meat and carefully lift it up through the slit you just created. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
  4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Brush the mixture generously over the lobster tails.
  5. Broil the lobster tails for about 10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through. The shell should also be bright red.
  6. Remove the lobster tails from the oven, sprinkle them with fresh parsley, and allow them to rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Serve the broiled lobster tails with melted butter and lemon wedges for squeezing over the lobster meat. Enjoy!
