  • 1 pound cavatini or penne pasta
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
