Ingredients
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
Mix in the flour and salt until crumbly.
Press the crumb mixture into the bottom and up the sides of an unbaked 9 inch pie shell.
Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow to cool.
In a large bowl, combine the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and remaining sugar. Beat until thick.
Pour mixture into the cooled crust and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Garnish with fresh whipped cream and serve.
