Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (15 ounces) refried beans
- 1 package (1.25 ounces) taco seasoning mix
- 1 package (10 ounces) corn chip taco shells
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Stir in refried beans and taco seasoning mix and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- Arrange taco shells on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven and fill each taco shell with the beef and bean mixture.
- Top each taco with shredded cheese and return to oven for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven and top with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and cilantro (if desired).
- Serve immediately.
