Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 (15-ounce) cans black beans, drained and rinsed

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 5 minutes, until the onion is softened.
  2. Add the cumin, paprika, and salt and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Add the beans and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beans are heated through and beginning to crisp up.
