They are tangy, salty, and full of flavor, making them a crowd-pleasing snack or appetizer. Serve them with a creamy dipping sauce for a tasty and satisfying treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 jar dill pickle spears
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil cooking spray

Directions

  1. Drain the pickles and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each pickle spear into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally into the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs to the pickles.
  5. Place the coated pickles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Spray the pickles with vegetable oil cooking spray on both sides.
  7. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
