- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sweet chili sauce for dipping
Directions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground pork over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables have softened. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the pork and vegetable mixture onto the center of the wrapper. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll tightly, sealing the edges with a bit of water.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 375°F (190°C). Fry the egg rolls for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve the egg rolls hot with sweet chili sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
