Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked crabmeat
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the crab, onion, cheese, Old Bay, garlic powder, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Then add the egg, milk, and melted butter and whisk until the batter is smooth.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a few tablespoons of oil to the skillet and heat until shimmering. Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the batter into the skillet and quickly spread it out with the back of the spoon. Cook until golden brown on the bottom, then flip the crepe and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Fill the crepes with the crab mixture, fold, and serve.
