Ingredients

  • 4 slices of sourdough bread
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup of canned crab meat
  • 1/4 cup of diced celery
  • 1/4 cup of diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for spreading

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the crab meat, celery, red onion, mayonnaise, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Divide the crab meat mixture between two of the slices of bread and top with the Swiss cheese.
  5. Top with the remaining two slices of bread and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.
  7. Serve hot.
