Ingredients
- 2 Cornish hens, thawed
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon rosemary, dried
- 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Rinse the hens and pat dry. Pat the outside of the hens dry to ensure that the seasoning adheres.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic, rosemary, thyme, oregano, paprika, salt and pepper.
- Brush the hens with the seasoned butter and place in a roasting pan. Roast for 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Allow the hens to rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.
