This classic tiramisu recipe is given a twist with the addition of a hint of almond flavoring in the creamy mascarpone filling. Layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers are topped with the rich mascarpone mixture and dusted with cocoa powder for a truly indulgent dessert experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and sugar until stiff peaks form.
  2. Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese and almond extract until well combined.
  3. Dip each ladyfinger into the brewed coffee and place a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  6. Dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
  8. Slice and enjoy this creamy and decadent dessert!
