This recipe is for classic American hamburgers that are juicy, flavorful, and perfect for summer barbecues. Made with high-quality ground beef, these burgers are seasoned to perfection and topped with your favorite condiments and toppings. Serve them on a toasted bun with a side of crispy fries for a satisfying meal that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, cheese, ketchup, mustard

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
  5. Once the burgers are done, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Add your preferred toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, cheese, ketchup, and mustard.
  7. Cover the burgers with the top half of the bun and serve immediately. Enjoy!
