Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place pie crust in 9-inch pie plate.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt until combined.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.
  4. Pour mixture into unbaked pie crust and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until set.
  5. Let cool before slicing and serving.
