Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 rib celery, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 cup dry sherry
2 cups seafood stock
1 pound cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 pound cooked crabmeat

Directions
Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the onion, celery, garlic, thyme, oregano and cayenne pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the sherry and cook until it is almost evaporated, about 2 minutes.
Add the seafood stock and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add the shrimp and crabmeat and cook until heated through, about 3 minutes.
Stir in the cream and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot.
