Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- In a large pot over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5 minutes. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Stir in the chili powder, cumin, oregano, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, black beans, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve. Enjoy!
