Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch unbaked deep-dish pie crust
  • 1/2 cup cooked and diced chiles verdes
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spread chiles verdes in the bottom of the pie crust.
  3. Sprinkle cheese blend over the top.
  4. Whisk together eggs, half-and-half, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper in a medium-sized bowl.
  5. Pour egg mixture over the cheese and chiles verdes.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until center is set.
  7. Let cool before serving.
