Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the onion is softened.
- Add the wine, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, pepper, and salt. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Sprinkle with the parsley and Parmesan cheese and serve.
