Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt and rosemary.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until just combined.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheets. Flatten each ball with the bottom of a glass.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
