Wash and dry the kale leaves. Remove the stems and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
Place the kale pieces in a large bowl and add the olive oil, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all of the kale is evenly coated.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the kale pieces in a single layer.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the kale is crispy.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.
