  • 1/2 cup diced green chilies
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the onion is soft and translucent.
  3. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute to toast the spices.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes and tomato sauce to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
