Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup caramel sauce
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray and set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar and mix well. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Add to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Spread the batter into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the shredded coconut over the top of the batter.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
Once cooled, drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the brownies. Cut into squares and serve.
