- 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
Directions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, garam masala, turmeric, chili powder, black pepper, and salt. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Add the diced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the heavy cream, butter, and chicken cubes. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the chickpeas and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the cilantro and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Serve hot.
