In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, and cook until bubbly. Add banana slices, and cook until soft. Stir in cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger. Pour in rum and cream, and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Pour over graham cracker crust.
Pour banana sauce over cream cheese layer. Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until cheesecake is set.
Allow to cool for 30 minutes, then chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
