Ingredients
- 2 cans of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (optional)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Open the cans of cinnamon roll dough and set aside the icing for later use.
- Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters. Arrange half of the cinnamon roll quarters in an even layer in the bottom of the greased baking dish.
- Layer half of the sliced bananas on top of the cinnamon roll quarters.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour half of the brown sugar mixture over the bananas.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining cinnamon roll quarters, bananas, and brown sugar mixture.
