Ingredients

  • 8 slices of thick-cut bacon
  • 8 slices of bread
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, then place a baking rack on top of it. This will help the bacon cook evenly and allow the excess fat to drip off.
  3. Arrange the bacon slices on the baking rack, making sure they don't overlap.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the bacon becomes crispy and browned. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
