Ingredients
- 4 slices of bacon, cut into small pieces
- 1 cup of cooked chestnuts, roughly chopped
- 1 head of lettuce, washed and chopped
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a skillet, cook the bacon until it is crispy. Remove from heat and drain on a paper towel.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked bacon, chestnuts and lettuce. Toss to combine.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat.
- Serve the salad immediately.
