Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons anise extract
2½ cups all-purpose flour

Directions
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Allow to cool before serving.
