Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sourdough starter, sugar, salt, and olive oil and mix until combined.
  2. Add in the all-purpose flour and whole wheat flour and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Form the dough into a ball and place on a lightly floured surface. Knead the dough for 5 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.
  4. Form the dough into a round loaf and place in an air-fryer basket. Cover the basket with a damp cloth and let the dough rise for 10 minutes.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F. Place the basket in the air fryer and cook for 20 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  6. Remove the bread from the air fryer and let cool completely before serving.
