Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 box jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 15-ounce container ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fill each cooked pasta shell with the sausage and cheese mixture and place them in a baking dish.
