Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

  1. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, red onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Pulse until the mixture is combined and a paste forms.
  2. Add the flour and pulse until combined.
  3. Using a spoon or small cookie scoop, form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a plate.
  4. Lightly brush the balls with olive oil.
  5. Place the balls in the air fryer basket and cook at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes, flipping the balls halfway through.
  6. Serve warm with tahini sauce, hummus, or your favorite dipping sauce.
