Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup of diced onion
  • 1/2 cup of diced bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of corn kernels
  • 1/2 cup of black beans
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup of jalapeno slices
  • 1/4 cup of cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of taco sauce
  • 1/2 lb. of halloumi cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Once cooked, drain off any excess fat. Add the taco seasoning and stir to combine. Add the onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, corn, black beans, and taco sauce. Simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 12-inch round pizza pan with cooking spray.
  3. Spread the ground beef mixture evenly over the pizza pan. Sprinkle the cheese over the beef. Arrange the jalapeno slices around the edge of the pizza.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, sugar, cayenne pepper, and red pepper flakes. Brush the mixture over the halloumi slices. Arrange the halloumi slices over the pizza.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
