Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

- Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the beef broth, tomatoes, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Stir in the parsley and serve hot.
