- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (4-ounce) can diced green chiles
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, jalapeno, and bell peppers. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and salt. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Add the beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Add the ground beef and stir to combine. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour.
- Add the diced tomatoes and green chiles and cook for an additional 30 minutes. Serve hot.
