Ingredients
- 2 pounds round steak, cut into thin strips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips, onion, bell pepper and garlic, and cook until the beef is lightly browned.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a slow cooker. Pour in the soy sauce, ginger, sugar and black pepper. Cover, and cook on Low for 4 hours.
- Serve over cooked rice.
