1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, with their juices
2 cups chicken broth
1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp
Directions
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the oregano, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper, and cook for 1 minute. Add the wine and cook, stirring occasionally, until the wine is reduced by half, about 2 minutes.
Add the tomatoes and their juices and the broth to the saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the shrimp to the saucepan and simmer until they are cooked through, about 5 minutes. Serve hot.
