  • 4 fresh tuna steaks
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro (optional)

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over high heat.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the sesame seeds, salt, and pepper. Press each tuna steak into the mixture to coat all sides.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, miso paste, honey, and sesame oil to make the dressing.
  5. Once the tuna steaks are cooked to your desired level of doneness, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  6. Slice each tuna steak into thin pieces and arrange them on a serving plate.
  7. Drizzle the soy miso dressing over the sliced tuna steaks.
  8. Garnish with sliced green onions and chopped cilantro, if desired.
