Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 cups finely chopped cabbage
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 30 round dumpling wrappers
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, cabbage, garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Place a spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of a dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold the wrapper in half and press to seal the edges.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the dumplings in a single layer and cook until the bottoms are golden brown.
- Add 1/2 cup water to the skillet and cover with a lid. Steam the dumplings for about 8-10 minutes until the filling is cooked through.
- Remove the lid and let the dumplings cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are crispy.
