Ingredients

  • 2 apples, peeled, cored and diced into small cubes
  • 2 pears, peeled, cored and diced into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions

  1. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine apples and pears.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together maple syrup, coconut sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
  3. Pour the maple syrup mixture over the apples and pears and stir to combine.
  4. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Stir and microwave for an additional 3 minutes.
  5. Let cool for 5 minutes and enjoy.
