Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, cornstarch, water, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced chicken to the skillet and cook until it is no longer pink. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil.
  5. Add the onion, bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas, carrot, and minced garlic. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes or until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the vegetables.
  7. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir to coat everything evenly.
  8. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the sauce has thickened and the chicken and vegetables are well-coated.
  9. Remove from heat and serve hot over steamed rice.
