Ingredients
- 1 lb. pork, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 lb. chicken, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 cup water
Directions
- In a large pot, combine the pork, chicken, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, black pepper, bay leaf and water.
- Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low.
- Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Serve over steamed rice.
