Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 lb. chicken, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions

  1. In a large pot, combine the pork, chicken, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, black pepper, bay leaf and water.
  2. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low.
  3. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool.
  5. Serve over steamed rice.
