Interesting Facts
Panzanella is believed to have originated in the 16th century in the Italian region of Tuscany.
This dish is traditionally served as a side dish, but can also be served as a main course.
The key to a good panzanella is to use stale bread, as it will help absorb all of the flavors of the vegetables and dressing.
