1/2 cup of any combination of the following: chocolate chips, nuts, coconut, oatmeal, raisins, etc.
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
Gradually add flour mixture, stirring until just combined. Stir in any combination of the following: chocolate chips, nuts, coconut, oatmeal, raisins, etc.
Drop cookie dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
